It's quiet and secluded while being a short distance [5 miles] from a major road. There are views of the Catskills and seasonal views of Mohonk Mountain. The area is known for its abundance of great restaurants, art galleries, antiquing, and hiking as well as rock climbing in the Shwangunks and many historic sites. The Belleayre and Hunter Mountain ski region is within an hour's drive.
